@SD_Ashira 13hrs on this dunk retweet. 1 like. Nice.

Every time I see CEOs suddenly change personas overnight, I always think there’s no way people could actually be fooled by this.
Then I see posts like these and realize wow, no wonder propaganda works as well as it does.
PR firms are not going anywhere

Part of the reason I’ve chosen OpenAI for both personal development and business API is that I’d prefer to buy software from a dad. You can see the influence having kids has had on him in this video.
English

Same bro, but tbh I like to think of it the same as irl friends. Everyone is so busy with their own thing now that I think it's ok if you don't message constantly. All I can do is still give support in the background and comment when I see things they post and I'm happy with that tbh
I messaged you like months ago and afterwards just been so overwhelmed to reply☹️
English

Idk how I can explain this, but I feel like I am getting along with many people here.
I wish I could become a real friend IRL.
But somehow the quality for majority of the connection feels shallow and eventually either or both side will interacting less and less over time and then completely forget each other.
Or not really, we just don't see each other on our respective timeline.
Sometimes I clearly remember who they are, but since I have bunch of people that I remember, I eventually forgot all of them altogether, which is weird.
Basically I would like to make as many genuine friendship with people that I am actually vibing with but then I don't really have the energy to even send a DM to others.
Idk, the level of social energy needed to interact with people in DM is like 100x than just replying each other in public.
Idk who else feeling this way and it's not really a big issue in my life, it's just a daydreaming thoughts that I want to write in public.
Whoever spending their time reading to this part, thank you.
English

@UltraLinx That will change as people are starting to realize most of these influencers are broke and not worth listening to
English

I used to think this about $10m+ folks that want to build a personal brand.
But then when I talk to them, it’s not just about the money.
It’s about status and respect.

i don't understand stupidly rich people still being on this website. bro go stare at a tree or something and enjoy life
English

@SD_Ashira added to navbar for better visibility will think about community note
English

@liutauras_liu Very nice, the state change to grey feels wrong though given the bg color. Probably remove it to make it more minimal
English

@RakibullHassa13 @krealdesign @MomentProCamera Made the post roughly 12hr ago, no credit.
Got called out 5 mins ago and then only then added a comment crediting them.
Now commenting here like you did it all along
English

Hey @MomentProCamera drop a word to your designer that his work is being flexed by someone else on here.
@RakibullHassa13 do you think you'll go far by showing other people's hard work on your profile?

The extra swipe in starting up @WisprFlow on iOS keyboard has killed the magic of the product for me
I know it’s a platform-level constraint, but man…that type of friction after experiencing the smoothness of voice dictation before is so annoying
Do we need to lobby John Ternus?
English

@tomasmas @manosaie @WisprFlow Not solved if you just do the automatic app open and then automatic re-route. That experience is jarring honestly, hated it. Every app I tried for this had the same problem I hate apple fr
English

@manosaie @WisprFlow We’ve solved this on iOS! Not constrained if you think outside the… rectangle
English

@Praha37v aside from all of this, I think if you go forward with the expectation that people will stay with you longer because they tell you so, you're setting yourself up to fail. You cannot force people to lock in with an X timeline for you, situations change, people change their minds.
No amount of fine prints in a contract will stop that from happening, you need to accept that's a risk of doing business
English

I did, here the contact is different Adrian, o too pay everyone i hire even for testing and trial periods.
But I don’t feel to pay when he exploits the trust, yeah I understand I took it personal, but when u trust on him and trained for a 6 months with all ur best efforts you can feel me.
But as the community said I’ll just close it since it’s not a big $
English

I hired a growth manager last month on a contract for $3800, expected him to deliver something tangible first month.
- Didn't setup GSC, GA4, nor GTM
- Sent two underwhelming excel sheets
- Spent a month on a plan to make a plan
- Connected for 3x30 minute calls and was "working" hands off all the time (I believed in his process)
Was super disappointed in the end to receive close to nothing, but I still paid him $2650 to part ways in good faith.
Contracts supposed to protect both sides but some people will still take advantage. That's the cost of doing business with people online.
You own your mistakes, close the chapter, and move on.
Dan@pizzaboy
@Praha37v Just pay it and walk away from each other You’re both silly for not having a contract tbh
English

@nickbakeddesign Exactly how I'm using it as well! Your designs are coming out more pixel perfect than mine, but for prototyping showcase I honestly don't mind the minor differences that claude produces because the figma UI covers that
English

In my experience, the more guidelines and rules you give it earlier on, the worst the output tends to be.
It funnily enough behaves a lot like the typical design process where you actually want it to try many things at first and then narrow/remove things after the fact.
In your next test, try giving very loose guidelines, just a reference screenshot maybe and tell it to just do what it thinks is best to achieve [x] goal
English

@SD_Ashira It's a real client brief so can't share this but it did go through a list of references, full brief, and I later added a bunch more screens to help improve it.
I'll try it on another live project soon but don't expect much tbh, it can't work with a larger context it seems.

English

claude.ai/public/artifac…
This is in 3 prompts, I can refine from more here but wouldn't bother. I've seen some really good stuff that I know AI can't replicate at this point, this is not one of them, and I mean that in good faith.
Try it more in your workflow, it's not meant to completely replace figma, but you'll save a lot of time in some areas that allows you to then use that time in others. You can also ignore :)
English

@SD_Ashira @uxkosta No AI can export design at this level from a prompt, let it go.
English

To add onto my point. This website took ca 2 hours to design + build out with claude - and it has infinitely more opportunity (with my lacking knowledge) for growth and improvement.
Built using shadcn + agentation + a bit of messing around in figma.
kosta@uxkosta
framer is painfully slow to work in compared to literally any ai tool
English

@grafician @uxkosta I legit just did a quick screenshot of something I did today for a dev to just give an idea and you're pressed about that for some reason....crazy.
I just took a look at your work and it's no wonder why, you're already getting replaced with ts
