@LLBiggers Thank you for posting this! I am 60 and I have been told my entire life that the world was going to end within years….. each time, the date came and went without the devastation. I finally started looking at it and realized that the people telling me were only trying to create fear to get community and funding….. it is just disheartening that we have gotten so far from reality and truth in global conversation! I do think we should be good stewards of the environment…. I am a proud electric car owner and I do try to conserve when it makes good sense. Thank you again for posting and talking about your journey!

Al Gore just said “none of the predictions from the past 20 years have been wrong from climate scientists.” This inspired me to go back and watch the classic An Inconvenient Truth. Upon rewatch it was worse than I remember!

BREAKING: SpaceX wants to turn Space into the World’s Biggest AI Data Center. • SpaceX is seeking approval to launch and operate up to one million satellites designed to function as orbital data centers. • These satellites would provide massive computing power to support advanced artificial intelligence and data processing. • The system would rely on near constant solar energy in space, reducing operating costs and environmental impact compared to Earth based data centers. • Satellites would operate between 500 km and 2,000 km in altitude, across multiple orbital shells, to handle global demand. • High speed laser links would connect the satellites with each other and with the Starlink network, enabling petabit level data transfer. • Data would ultimately be routed to authorized ground stations around the world. • SpaceX says demand from AI, machine learning, and edge computing is growing faster than terrestrial infrastructure can handle. The company frames this as a major step toward a future where humanity becomes a multi planetary civilization powered by space based infrastructure.

I have a Foundation Cybertruck. I use FSD every day. That isn’t the issue with it. I ordered the extra battery because I live on a farm and need to haul things… like a horse trailer. The Cyber Truck is useless for that. The range is too low, can’t really tow anything and when you do, if you need to SuperCharge, you have to park and unhook your load first. They will need to fix the range if they want it to be useful for AG or Construction businesses… and make pull through SuperCharger stalls with room for trailers at every location.

During the 4Q & FY 2025 Financial Results meeting, Elon Musk discussed the future of the @cybertruck : "We will transition the Cybertruck line to a full autonomous vehicle line. An autonomous Cybertruck could be very useful." Lars Moravy said that the Cybertruck line is flexible and can be changed to other products, but reminded everyone that it remains the best selling EV truck and competitors are leaving the competitive space. My read on this: Cybertruck may be the vehicle variant that is made with and without a steering wheel, depending on the market(s) and customer(s) @Tesla will be selling to. Personal use vehicles and some business versions may be made with a steering wheel, while those for commercial, autonomous service will not have steering wheels. The Cybertruck is uniquely positioned to allow these two options and may be a way to enhance its appeal and also make best use of the capital expenses of the production line.

I was taught about Climate Change and how it will end the world in a few years….like 7 times…. Starting back in the 70’s. We are still here, the world did not end 1 time they said it would. After a while, you stop listening to the people crying wolf(Climate Crisis). Or should I trust their science after 7 world ending failures?

@myQConnect - I have 5 of your door openers and a gate opener. Right now and for the last 9 months, MyQ won’t operate any of them except one. I called support and got laughed at and hung up on multiple times. I stood outside in the ridiculous heat troubleshooting basic thing I had already done multiple times myself. You support is horrible!

@LionelMedia Ridiculous “Resort Fees” are killing Las Vegas. It is a scam, always has been and always will be. It is a tax on Corporations. I don’t stay in. A “Resort Fees” hotel when my company isn’t paying the bill….. my company moved our big yearly conference to San Francisco….

Las Vegas has been cannibalizing itself for years, long before Trump returned to office. Beloved hotels were torn down in favor of soulless glass towers, free parking vanished, resort fees skyrocketed, and even basic conveniences like an empty fridge were removed unless you paid extra. The city abandoned its core promise of excess and escape, replacing it with corporate greed and micromanaged misery. Buffets disappeared, comps were gutted, and every corner now screams surcharge. Vegas didn’t get destroyed by politics or pandemics—it strangled itself trying to become a luxury mall with slot machines. The magic died because they killed it.

According to your scale, they have already solved it They are somewhere in the last 20%. Tesla autonomy may not be considered complete by many or most but it only improves from here. Mine drives me everywhere with few interventions. It will just be fewer and fewer from this point. The final step for autonomy is regulatory acceptance. My Tesla could drive me almost everywhere unsupervised if it was acceptable to the regulatory agencies. So the real question is: What is the metric that decides autonomy is solved? And remember, it will never be 100% complete, it will always be improving….

This is funny! You all say a number like you are looking for the 76 virgins! I would rather have 76 high body count ladies if that was a choice I was given. What a man says he will accept and what he will actually accept or want are normally two different things 🤣 Just stop trying to shame ladies… get to know the person and procreate. We need more people to populate Mars!

@SDickson42 @LucidOasis @LucidMotors I believe Lucid is pouring all their resources into long-term investments, focusing on factory expansion and scaling up. I also think Peter’s constantly whining about his high-tech innovations to drive Elon nut and tangle up in distractions, then Tesla will implode on its own!

Funny, at this point he is like a nat flying around Elon Musk’s glass of wine… I don’t think he’s having any effect at all. Lucid has been at 8K cars a year for the last 3 years, where is all the investment and scale he’s building? They also are providing guidance for 8K cars this year as well… There hasn’t been any growth, sadly..

@LucidOasis @SDickson42 @LucidMotors You know who's superior in manufacturing tech? Tesla. They gotta stop over engineer stuff, what's this all about if they can't scale and be profitable. Scale and profitablity is the name of the game now, not over the top expensive stuff, that shit sail a long time ago as a POC.
