If you are a neighbour or business in SE15, will you help us close the gap ? You can sign up via our website se15cf.org - even a small regular contribution helps the sustainability 🌱 of the fund, so that it can be there for everyone to access in times of need.

Although our social media has been a bit quiet lately, the fund is still operating and giving out grants each month to SE15 neighbours. However due to higher demand and the ever increasing cost of living, there is now a wide gap between monthly contributions & applications.

Close The Gap ! Now in its third year of operation, over £45,000 has been redistributed all across the postcode since the fund started back in May 2020. A big thank you 🙏 to all contributors both new and those who have been supporting the fund from the start.

With the Government stripping people of the £20 a week Universal Credit uplift, additional financial support for our neighbours is incredibly relevant. This Universal Basic Income pilot shows the impact that even £50 a month could have.

Working with the Basic Income Conversation @CompassOffice and other funds from the London Solidarity Fund Federation @brentsolfund @NewhamSFund @FundGoose @SE16CF we will be crowdfunding £10,000 in order to ensure that we can provide all our applicants with funds for one month.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the Fund in its first year of operation. It’s now redistributed over £20,000 to over 70 different SE15 neighbours since May 2020, and has been supported by over 115 different local people and businesses.

@SE15CF @Jasmine_Ali I’m a massive supporter of Elim House but want a scheme that upgrades day centre and has affordable housing too - I believe this proposal has none. We’ve committed to a minimum of 50% of homes built on council land being for council rent

Elim House on Bellenden Road is apparently under threat - it's a vitally important day centre supporting Black senior citizens. @Jasmine_Ali @peterbabudu - are you aware of this ?

As far as I can see there's no application made yet for 86 Bellenden where Elim House is
