Parenting is hard, period. Screen time is often a last resort for families.
The last thing moms need is judgmental commentary from the childless peanut gallery.

Parenting is hard etc but I’m sorry if you’re allowing your toddler 2-3 hours of screen time per day you actually are failing them and you’re failing as a parent. This past week I saw at least a dozen toddlers running around with devices, some with phones clipped to their strollers(!). Your toddler has only been in the world for a short time. It’s still very interesting to them if you let them look up at it.

I love how women are slowly phasing out the “bra”. No one knows their bra size anymore, we’re all wearing sports bras, bralettes or going braless and it’s amazing.

Anyway my view is that if the rich don't play by the rules, we should work to make them play by the rules and dedicate more resources in that direction. It is worse to be like, well, they do bad things, so let's ALL do bad things. A race to the bottom might be more "equal" in some ways, but it just means more people at the bottom.

My hot take is it definitely can be consensual in some rarer cases, but that doesn’t make it ethical. Some things are unethical and degrading for society, even without a clear victim-perpetrator dynamic.
