@_________e2 @PatrickMcGee_ This is excluding of course any apps you use. They can collect data separately. I try to be judicious about what third party apps I use.

@_________e2 @PatrickMcGee_ Apple doesn’t collect anywhere near the volume of data the goog does, and what they do collect is generally for performance related analysis. Some of it is naturally for preferences & trends for making their products & services better, but nobody outside  is seeing it.

@_________e2 @PatrickMcGee_ Humongous Difference:  isn’t then selling that aggregated & “anonymized” info to third parties who then track your activity across the internet.

@PatrickMcGee_ Interesting take. Though Idk. Apple isn’t necessarily known for privacy. They capture algorithms and personal likes/preferences of their users. I don’t see their search engines being any more private. We’ll see.
