Rishi, read the room, people are fed up with the Ukraine narrative. It’s a drain on British tax payers. The narrative that Ukraine is defending the rest of Europe from Russia is B.S. this is a decades long conflict on a par with a civil war between 2 borders that once were one. The military industrial complex is a drain on our economy. Yes we should invest in the latest military technologies for our own defences; but we also must stop engaging in other conflicts and focus on Britain first.

Thank you to every single one of the more than 125,000 people who signed the #SEND petition and made today’s debate possible and especially to @CutScenesUK. Standing room only and public gallery full. Moving speeches inside and outside Parliament.

Absolutely incredible day in Westminster today for the #SENDDebate - massive thanks to all the #SaveOurChildrensRights team, everyone who signed the petition and all the MPs who spoke up for our children’s rights.

@HertsMercury Herts SEND Tribunal stats are being dangerously misreported. A recent article claimed “just 4.15% of SEND appeals succeed”. That is flat-out wrong. 2024 SEND appeals lodged: 609, 389 conceded, 97 allowed, 64 partial allowed = 550. 90% win for parents. @Stewcarr

The petition to protect disabled children’s rights is now in the top 10 of over 1,900 on the official petitions website, with over 81,000 signatures. We’ve been told a White Paper is imminent. Will you help get this up to 100,000? Under 18s can sign too.

NEW POST: A new report from @FamilyFund shows how the high cost of caring for a disabled child or young person in 2025 means some families have to choose between heating, eating, and caring for their disabled child specialneedsjungle.com/cost-caring-20…

@samcarlisle @bphillipsonMP @DCPcampaign @TheSun I work in mainstream the students are crying out for support which you can’t provide as the schools can’t fund TAs especially academies that pay stupid salaries to CEOs etc for a EHCP If you are lucky you’ll get £6000 a year for support ! 😡

@samcarlisle @bphillipsonMP @DCPcampaign @TheSun Reinstating Sure Start Centres would be a step in the right direction. They worked because there was early intervention, and they made a difference. Cost cutting is short-sighted. Money spent in the Early Years means savings later.
