From February, 25th to 27th, the seminar "Strengthening national M&E capacities" took place in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Organised by the IOB - University of Antwerp and funded by the SEO, the event united 60 leading monitoring & evaluation professionals from about 15 countries.

🌍 On 5 December, the Special Evaluation Office organized a restitution to present the evaluation of the Belgian #fragility approach, conducted by C-Lever. A panel deepened the discussions on the HDP Nexus, territorialisation and ‘staying engaged’ in institutional support.

It was an eventful couple of days for our Autumn Steering Committee here in Brussels. Delegates will continue the dialogue at our next meeting in May 2025. ✨It is day two of the Autumn Steering Committee here in Brussels! ☝ First item of the day is a multilateral policy roundtable on how to promote partnership and multilateral effectiveness in challenging times.  A focus of this roundtable discussion will be the outcome of the recent Summit of the Future, where the Pact of the Future was adopted. 🗣️ During today's discussion, Members will be asked to reflect on how the Summit of the Future influenced their multilateral strategies, accounting for changes in their respective administrations. 💡This discussion will help MOPAN understand how it can support Members national policy priorities and strengthen Members’ engagement with multilateral organisations.

👏 Productive first day of the Autumn Steering Committee. 📢 MOPAN is pleased to announce that Members have approved New Zealand joining the Network! We look forward to welcoming New Zealand into the Network to create a stronger multilateral system. 💪 Ready to continue the collaboration tomorrow on day two.
