Daha önceki açıklamamızda belirttiğimiz gibi CHP, sınıfsal doğası gereği, demokratik hakları tutarlı bir şekilde savunmaktan acizdir. Çünkü bu mücadele, işçi sınıfını ve gençliği, bir otoriter rejim inşasının arkasındaki asıl sınıfsal güce, egemen sınıfın iktidarına karşı demokrasi, toplumsal eşitlik ve anti-emperyalizm temelinde seferber etmeyi gerektirmektedir. Bu mücadele, demokrasiden geriye kalanların ortadan kaldırılması da dahil tüm temel toplumsal sorunların kaynağı olan kapitalist sistemi savunan düzen partileri tarafından verilemez. Bu mücadele, devrimci bir önderliği gerektirmektedir. Bir kez daha vurguluyoruz: “Sosyalist Eşitlik Partisi – Dördüncü Enternasyonal, uzlaşmaz siyasi farklılıklarından bağımsız olarak, CHP’nin seçilmiş yönetiminin yargı eliyle görevden uzaklaştırılmasına ve demokratik haklara yönelik saldırıya karşı çıkmaktadır.
