Day two of @SERCReliability's System Operator Conference covered Load Shed Events, Hurricane Helene lessons, the Iberian Blackout review, the NERC Standards Game, and hands on PowerSimulator training. Operators continued building skills for real world system challenges.

NERC released a Level 3 Essential Action NERC Alert  on Computational Loads on May 4. All applicable SERC registered entities reviewed and acknowledged the alert prior to the deadline. We appreciate the rapid action and response from SERC entities.

NERC released a Level 3 Essential Action NERC Alert  on Computational Loads today (5/4/2026). Registered entities are asked to review the alert and acknowledge by May 11, 2026. The alert includes actions to take to address the risks posed by existing and new computational loads.
