@LiuFeng_Dao @CryptoDailyNot Iran has no legal right to block Hormuz, let alone Red Sea. Unless you suggest force is enough to justify? Then we’re all fucked and America will control it all

THE LAST 24 HOURS OF THE IRAN WAR CHANGED EVERYTHING. HERE IS THE TIMELINE. This is not what you're being told. 24 hours ago, Hegseth stood in the White House Cabinet room. He said: "Never in history has a country been defeated as Iran has. We wiped it off the face of the earth." THAT SAME DAY: Iran launched its 80th wave of missile strikes against Israel and US bases. Iran's IRGC announced ALL American military bases in the Middle East have been "ELIMINATED" and they are hunting the remaining US troops. Iran released video claiming they shot down a US F-18 fighter jet near Chabahar. CENTCOM denied both claims. But released no footage. Iran announced the Strait of Hormuz will never be the same. 20+ ships have ALREADY paid the "Tehran Toll Booth" for safe passage. Iran's parliament is drafting a LAW to make the Hormuz toll system permanent. Iran then threatened to block the Bab el-Mandeb Strait — the entrance to the Red Sea. That's 12% of all global seaborne oil. On top of the 20% that already flows through the Hormuz they now control. Here's what nobody is telling you: The US spent months bombing Iran. Iran responded by becoming the landlord of the world's most important shipping lanes. That's not a defeat. That's a business model. Bookmark this. Come back in 5 days.

Whenever the US ventures into Iranian airspace, Iran either shoots down US aircraft, rapidly chases them out of the airspace or causes them serious damage. The idea that the US controls Iranian airspace is yet more utter bullshit. They rarely enter it.

@GeromanAT @Dmg_Cntrl Titanium plumbing. Corrosion-proof in seawater - add $100 million to the price tag. Titanium plumbing. Requires a clean-room to weld. SLIGHTEST damage means dead stop, full tow to port. These ships were designed for ZERO damage. Don't believe me look it up.

You should read about the Ukraine proxy-war, 80% of hundreds of thousands of dead innocents by Drones, and try to imagine 1, 10 or 100 2024-issue military drones shoot each human head in a stadium in Tel Aviv or New Jersey ( remember the 3 weeks of drones violating US airspace? Could it be why the US and the whole dang Pentagon decided to disarm Iran in March 2026? everyday Russia, China, the US build i think thousands of modern military drones. The Ground Wars changed forever ... Ukrainians and all country leaders know this, but no leader including Trump will tell you ... you'd freak out.

@ZZvonimiro76162 @squatsons The only reaon US bases exists in the region is to provide the illusion that we can protect those places. You just shattered that illusion. Leaders who allow those bases to remain won't be rulers very long with an independent Iran about to emerge as a prosperous Islam-oil state

@SF202017 @squatsons That depends, just surviving but agreeing to leave the US bases in the MIDEAST, reopen Hormuz, and/or restrictions on missile/nuclear program would also be a loss. The regime only wins this if it kicks the US out of the MIDEast, in short.

@mCasual1 @mark_slapinski History began before 1979. You should read some of it. The modern war in Iran began in 1953. Britain started it but the US had to take credit. Good doc named Coup 53 about it.

Iranian ballistic missile warhead in-flight at hypersonic speeds landing on its target in Israel, at a distance of 1,400km from launch and with a precision less than 5 meters. Absolutely insanely amazing engineering happening here. Iranians are geniuses, God bless/protect them.

No, that isn't what is occuring. Iran has been utterly decimated. They do not have the ability to really do more than lob missiles into Israel or the Gulf states at this point. Accuracy is not a thing Iran has an option for anymore (to the extent they ever did). If the US and Israel were intentionally not targeting Iranian energy facilities, they were doing that because they didn't want to leave Iran's main infrastructure a crumbling wreck for the next government. If you wanted to make a good argument here, you might say that this is a sign the US and Israel see little chance the regime change piece of this war is likely to happen. That could be a reasonable conclusion.

Israeli strikes have hit the largest Iranian gas processing plant in Asaluyeh. South Pars accounts for about 75% of Iran's natural gas production and it is estimated that about 80% of the country's power grid runs on natural gas. This is a major escalation that will have dramatic consequences on the global economy.

In 2018-2019, I made the case for regime change in Iran as often as I could. Voices in Trump’s orbit often cited Iran’s capacity to close the Strait of Hormuz as a reason against regime change. Trump has been fully aware this is a possibility, and yet did not prepare.
