3/ They purport to “notify” the recipient about a pending court hearing & instruct them to avoid the hearing by paying court costs in advance. The notices may include a QR code or hyperlink which directs the user to a payment portal. These notices are scams.

I would like to thank @SFPD, @oaklandpoliceca, @ATFSanFrancisco, & @FBISanFrancisco for their excellent coordination and investigation in this case. These convictions + sentences hold these men accountable for a brazen mid-afternoon drive-by shooting.

3/ Shaquille Dumetz pled guilty to attempted murder and was sentenced to 7 years in State Prison on 11/7/25. Cory Martin-Turner also pled guilty on 11/7/25, to assault with a semi-automatic firearm and was sentenced to 6 years in State Prison.

3/ Mr. Hill is currently in custody pending sentencing. He faces up to 25 years in state prison and must register for life pursuant to Penal Code section 290 for his crimes. A date to set sentencing is scheduled for 3/1/26.

2/ Mr. Hill was convicted of forced oral copulation, assault w/ force likely to cause great bodily injury, w/ allegations that he was armed during the commission of the crime found true.  He was also convicted of 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, and 1 count of assault.

3/ Mr. Simon is charged w/ resisting, delaying, & obstructing a peace officer. Mr. Phillips is scheduled to be arraigned on 3/10/26. Mr. Simon is scheduled to be arraigned on 4/6/26. Although charges have been filed, this remains an active investigation.
