Taraval's own Officer Phyo was honored last night, at City Hall, with the Department's "Officer of the Week" Award. As one Lieutenant stated, Officer Phyo "consistently demonstrates exceptional dedication, reliability, and professionalism." Congratulations Officer Phyo!

Last night, Sgt. Tang was recognized by the Coalition of Asian-American Government Employees for his contributions to keeping our communities safe. @SFPDChiefLew stopped by the ceremony to congratulate him on this honor!

Little Star Preschool invited Officer Butler from Taraval Station to talk to the kids about safety. He had a great time speaking with more than 75 preschoolers. They presented him with a wonderful thank‑you card at the end, and he made sure everyone received an SFPD sticker!

Sunset Elementary School held Career Read Aloud Day yesterday. Officer Hung, Officer Hewitson and Officer Butler go to read books to the students and also shared about their careers as officers in San Francisco. The kids had a great time, but the officers enjoyed it even more!
