EXERCISE NOTIFICATION: A Fire and Rescue Service exercise, will be held at Talbot Garage, Cheshire Street, Market Drayton, this evening. Exercise is due to start at 7pm and will last no more than 2 hours. We will be joined by colleagues from @CheshireFire @AudlemFire 🚒🚒

Members of the team are assisting with a cross border training between @SFRS_Albrighton and Codsall from @StaffsFire at Telford Central this evening.

First #JESIP exercise of 2025 is underway as we work alongside our colleagues in @WMerciaPolice and @StaffsPolice with their initial Haz Mat responder course. Crews from @SFRS_TelfordCtl and @SFRS_Bridgnorth partaking this morning.

It’s still that time of year when you have no idea of the day, when bin day is or what you’re supposed to eat - only that it’s made of chocolate or cheese! But never the less the team are working and are supporting appliance availability in @PreesFire_SFRS and @NewportSfrs

This morning was a happy and sad occasion as we wished our friend and colleague a long and happy retirement. First time he's got the Silver Axe! 35 years of long, faithful and committed service to Shropshire and further afield.
