This is actually where I think Andrea Berta thrives. Being cut throat and looking emotionlessly at situations - of Osimhen is realistically available this summer it would be silly for us not to be interested. He makes plenty of sense for Arsenal, basically our answer to Haaland at City with his top 1% physical abilities paired with his good technical level. An obvious upgrade on Gyökeres already: #AFC

I was begging anyone who could listen that Gyokeres was so bad a signing that it could sink Arsenal’s season. Despite having been right on every single Arsenal transfer since 2021, nobody listened to me.

I hope people watch this game and realize that it’s not “the coaching”, it’s literally just the players. Havertz, Eze, Saka on the pitch = Good No Havertz, Eze or Saka on the pitch = Bad You can’t make a Gyokeres contribute to actual football.

Arsenal fans are tired of the only manager in the world to consistently compete with Pep Guardiola and a Petro Dollar team on steroids. They think they can do better than Cristiano Ronaldo at fighting with Messi. Foolish people.

@bossolamilekan1 "We are very rich in this country". How many are rich in this country boss?? It's just classicism, people think that success or being wealthy is measured by what kind of car you own. Poverty has been weaponized In Nigeria and that's the reason why... Another example is the iPhone

This was where Arteta lost the plot, your team haven’t won anything in years, then the first shot at a title, he was benching his goalkeeper and they approached it with the mindset of doesn’t matter, that was where the title race changed. If they had won, they will be in firm control of the Title Race, because the dream of quadruple will be alive, football this period of the season is Psychological as much as Talent.

Nothing anyone can say that will convince me. We are winning the league this season. However, I don't want us to just win the league this season. We need to dominate for a long while and a good job in the summer needs to be done. The reason we didn't buy Semenyo in January is because we bought Madueke..similar money to Semenyo. We can't make such mistakes again. We need upgrades on the left wing, a back up striker ( replacement for Gabriel J ), a central attacking midfielder, an attacking midfielder and maybe a versatile defender. Doing this will upgrade our bench which will make rotation easy. We have a chance to dominate, we can't miss it.

I need the creation of a #9 that has the technical monstrosity of a Robin Van Persie and the monstrous physicality of an Erling Haaland. He should be a left footer, can deliver dead balls at any swing and can shoot from anywhere. He should be able to sniff a goalscoring opportunity out of a rubble, and should have the flexibility of a pole vaulter. He should be available. He should come from Armenia or Belarus where he will have to toil so much before his country qualifies for a major tournament. I want to always see the hunger he feels from lack, and a desire to want to be a big man from a small place. And I want him to have his summer holidays. He should be at home when his mates are toiling for their national teams playing competitions they won’t win. I’m selfish, yes. Who has a lab for one?

It’s honestly tough being an Arsenal fan right now. Because it’s not just about this season, it’s the weight of everything that’s come before it. Since the Premier League title in 2004, it’s been years of “almost,” years of rebuilding, years of watching other teams hit the heights you once lived at comfortably. You’ve sat through banter eras, false dawns, and seasons where top four felt like a trophy. And now, finally, this was supposed to be the season. Everything aligned. The squad matured, the football improved, the belief came back. For once, it didn’t feel like hope, it felt like expectation. That’s what makes it harder. Because being second isn’t failure in isolation… but in this context, it feels like it. When you’ve led, when people started to believe, when the finish line is in sight, slipping to second hits differently. It feels like something is being taken away, not just something you haven’t reached yet. And the fear creeps in when will it come again? Because opportunities like this don’t come every year, even if the team is improving. Football doesn’t reward progress linearly. You can build and build, and still fall short at the final step. So now it’s a mix of frustration and anxiety. Pride in how far the team has come, but a lingering sense that this might have been the moment… and it’s drifting. That’s the brutal part of supporting a club like Arsenal, you don’t just want to compete, you expect to win. And when you come this close, anything less starts to feel like a missed destiny.

If Manchester City don’t win the league from here it will be the biggest bottle job in the history of the sport.

At some point, you have to tell yourselves the truth the fans and the team. On an early Saturday morning, you had the chance to go 12 points clear. If you had done that, you wouldn’t be in this situation. Instead, you lost to a 12th-placed Bournemouth. Then you went to the City Ground with a 6-point lead, with the opportunity to make sure it didn’t slip, and you lost again. Even before that, there were so many chances throughout the season to extend the lead, but this is the final stretch the last 10 games. That’s when you’re supposed to play like a team that actually wants to win the league. But instead, you stalled… and dragged Manchester City back into the title race. The real frustration. It’s not just about dropping points, it’s how you dropped them passive performances, lack of urgency, moments where the mentality just didn’t match the occasion. Title-winning teams don’t drift through games like that, especially not at this stage of the season. Instead of controlling your own destiny, you’re looking over your shoulder, hoping they slip. Went From hunters to hunted… and now back to doubters.
WelBeast@WelBeast

Tied on all metrics with Manchester City but apparently we’re the bottlers and they’re the mentality monsters. Make it make sense.

If Spurs didn't realize it before now, things just got real. The two teams below them in the league have ALREADY BEEN relegated. The next team above them is Tottenham, a team that was in the UEFA Champions League final 7 years ago. This means that draws won't help Spurs now. They simply need to win games and just generally get better results than West Ham from now till the end of the season. I remember someone saying this is how Leeds got relegated in 1992, because they kept thinking "we can't get relegated", until they did

All of you Arsenal fans that have already given up, I'm coming for you, I swear. We're not even playing Manchester City again. No more final. Just win your 5 games and lift the trophy, and you're all here insulting, shouting , comparing players. Is that the next thing ? You're not well.
