Pictures can tell 1000 words and are so powerful. These books by Gwen Hew are a fantastic tool to utilise in a classroom when introducing Ss to the topic of Borneo and it’s rainforests! They will act as a great resource to spark curiosity in my unit. #UoNteach #educ4750

@SFinlay22 I am also connecting my unit to my Ss local community via fieldwork at Woy Woy community gardens. This method not only engages Ss, it assists them in taking action which will hopefully inspire them to use this same method at a global scale.
