The Hampden Club @FootballMemSco were delighted to welcome Andy Barrowman to @BarclaysHampden today to speak to the group about his footballing career playing at 15 clubs and some of his favourite memories. Thank you Andy for giving your time so generously!

Our thoughts are with Jim Fleeting’s family and friends following his passing. Jim gave over 25 years of service to the Scottish FA, playing an instrumental role across Coach Education and Football Development, latterly in the role of Director of Coaching.

Great to see Mark Metcalf’s new book on John Goodall now available to order. Born in England to Scottish parents (his father served in the army and had been based in London) & raised in Ayrshire, John would go on to play for England due to the eligibility rules of the period.

Goodall played his early football with Kilmarnock Athletic before heading over the border to enjoy a stellar career with a host of clubs including Preston North End and Derby County. @pnefc @dcfcofficial
