Any city councilmember who votes to support this plan should be recalled from office. The voters already weighed in on building the Royals a new stadium, and they very clearly opposed it.

This is roster math, not hate. Vinnie said on Foul Territory he was mentoring his replacement Jac. He said the Royals have not talked extension with him in 2 to 3 years. They went to arbitration. He also said he has to play well enough to earn those talks. That all points to the same thing. The Royals are planning for Jac at 1B in a couple years after he gets his stride, so they do not have to pay Vinnie top dollar to extend or in free agency.

When the team shows little to no fight, he needs to lead by example. But yeah, fuck Mike Matheny too.

#Royals GM JJ Picollo says hitting coach Alec Zumwalt “will return” as the hitting coach in 2026 and “most of the staff” will return as well. Might be tweaks to the staff to help get most out of players.
