@briananjuarez @briananjuarez You can either park at the MoPac trail head and start from there, or by foot/bike the trail intersects with Escarpment at 45 at the southwest corner. Please check out this map for more information.

@SH45SW I meant the bike trail.

While we're thrilled to be opened to traffic, construction crews are still working & will be using the trail to provide construction vehicles with access. For safety reasons, the Shared Use Path isn't open @ this time. We expect to officially open the trail late June/early July.

@SH45SW I noticed there are elk crossing signs on the new road now. Are there wild elk somewhere in this area?

@stefanrothe @CTXMobility @austinmobility We are so glad you like it; however, please be aware the shared use path (bike/pedestrian trail) is not currently open to the public for safety reasons as there are still construction activities happening. We hope to open it by the end of June and will keep you updated.

Checked out the new bike/pedestrian trail along @SH45SW towards Hays County. Nicely done @CTXMobility. Can't wait until all of South Mopac is done and we got a shoulder again there, too! @austinmobility
