A controversy has erupted in Hyderabad following Narendra Modi’s public meeting after a video surfaced online.
In the video, a group of individuals—who claim to have come from Uttar Pradesh—are seen alleging that they were paid ₹300 each to attend the rally.
the group consisted of around 20 people who were staying in Nacharam and had attended the Bharatiya Janata Party rally held at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad.
The video, which has gone viral on social media, shows a @SHAMANEWS24 reporter Abdul Quddus interacting with several women wearing burqas, who stated that they had come from Nacharam to attend the meeting. The reporter Abdul Quddus then spoke to a man who identified himself as Raushan and claimed to be the group’s leader.
Raushan alleged that each member of the group was paid ₹300 to participate in the rally. When asked why such a small amount was given, he responded, “We were called, so we came. I don’t have much information beyond that.
