No one thinks this. It takes an astonishing level of cope to believe this, especially when right wing politicians are constantly trying to pass “vaporize every animal on sight” bills and the “bulldoze every national park” acts

Shortly after the election I grieved for and later made peace with the extremely uncomfortable fact that most of us are going to die significantly earlier than we would like, and the cause may very well trace a direct line to the actions of this administration.

If monarch butterflies when extinct there would be a major collapse in insect biodiversity resulting in multiple ecosystems being disrupted which affects ALL species, including humans. Monarch butterflies are pollinators and help supply environments with clean air and maintain healthy habitats. They are an important part of our food ecosystem. Not to mention they are also very culturally significant to Mexico and represent the souls of departed loved ones during the Day of the Dead festival. Their migration starts the holiday when they return to Día de Muertos. They are environmentally and culturally extremely significant for North America. With the wave of data centers being built that are going to destroy so much nature and cause so much pollution, I couldn’t think of a better time to protect these species.

In every single country that passed age verification laws: 1) databases got leaked 2) innocent websites got censored 3) governments became more censorship heavy 4) protests became more criminalized 5) information got harder to find

I like that building high speed rail in California requires nine thousand years of environmental impact studies but throwing up a data center the size of Texas takes fourteen seconds with zero material public support.

Being a masculine woman is not a better alternative for trans men. I put no effort into presenting myself as a femininely and I am shamed for it by my classmates and family members. Hateful trans and c2s women on this ap, if you actually care about your trans—

If I had been taught in primary school that Amelia Earhart died because men ignored dozens of distress calls from her, that would've been a lot more helpful to my life than growing up scared of the Bermuda Triangle. smh
