Our systematic review found significant variation in the outcomes used and reported in surgical handover research. This led us to begin developing a Core Outcome Set to standardise outcome reporting in this area.@RCSI_Irl @MPS_Medical

As part of this work @RCSI_Irl , we conducted a national survey of surgical NCHDs in Ireland and found poor compliance with handover best practice and potential patient safety risks, highlighting the need for standardisation and training.@MPS_Medical #PatientSafety
