The change in mindset and behaviour you'll have with spending 2 days with someone who is ambitious vs someone who is settled is so profound. Nothing better that surrounding yourself with like-minded ambitious people
alexei@alexeixbt

get close to ambitious people and watch your whole baseline rise. their drive becomes contagious. their standards quietly reset yours. spend enough time around people who expect more from themselves and you start expecting more from you. you become the average of who you're around. pick people whose habits you'd be proud to catch.

Maxing out these AI tools over the past year has given me the most insane progress in all aspects of my life
Alex Finn@AlexFinn

The most dangerous thing you can do right now is NOT use the latest AI tools. Period. Every day a new company is laying off thousands of people who don't know how to use the most modern AI tools If I were in the 9-5 world right now, this is every step I'd take: 1. Download Codex and build your first app. Learn how to implement a front end and database (I’d use nextJS and Convex). AI can teach you all of this 2. Download Hermes agent. Tell the agent about your entire life. Career, goals, and ambitions. Ask it what workflows it can implement to get you closer to those goals. This is called reverse prompting. 3. Build your own Mission Control with Hermes agent. This is your own custom software that automates every part of your life. Anytime you do a task on your todo list manually, give it to Hermes and figure out how you can automate it in your Mission Control 4. Get the Claude Max plan. Feed Fable 5 Max your hardest problems. Make sure you hit the rate limit on it EVERY single week 5. Constantly look at your limits in all your AI plans. If you're ever not above 50% on your limits, get angry that you're not burning enough tokens. 6. Learn how to use Claude Code side by side with Codex. Learn both their strengths. Fable 5 for planning, ChatGPT 5.6 sol medium for execution. These are the only 2 coding tools that matter. Master these and you're golden 7. Start creating content and building a platform. Resumes no longer matter. Companies dont look at them anymore. They check your platform. What you talk about, what you’re passionate about, how you educate others, who follows you. This matters 100x more than anything else when getting hired right now. If you do these 7 things you are in excellent position to not only be safe in your career, but also dominate those that don't pick up these skills.

Ok master ugc plan 1. Hire 50 creators 2. $450/m for 3 vids a day super minimal editing 3. Bc my format I’m getting 3,000,000 views/month 4. 1,000,000 views = ~$1,000 5. $22,500/month in ugc This will be 150m views/month $150,000/month 6.6x ROI

myth: ugc is cheap content. correction: ugc is cheap market research that happens to produce content.

same video. same budget. ig reels did 3x fb reels. if you've never split identical creative by placement, you're reading blended data and calling it insight.

"my videos are not working" is not a diagnostics find out what is not working - is your hook boring, are you deciding after posting for only 3 days, is the quality poor it's not an account issue, fix your content first

one creator with 8 hooks beats 8 creators with one video each. you're testing hooks, not people.

recruited a small batch of creators for a saas client on one rule: right icp fit over reach. first video did fine. second video, same creator, sharper angle, hit 600k views. consistency with the right creator beats a one-off with a big one. if you're not sure how to vet creators for fit instead of just follower count, let me know, happy to share what we look for.

how a UGC video is actually structured: 1. problem-first hook in the first 3 seconds 2. relatable struggle 3. casual product intro 4. one clear next step no polish. no jingles. no "link in bio" at the end.

most saas founders brief creators like they're writing an ad. that's exactly why the video flops. - give them the problem, not the script - let them find their own words for it - the awkward, slightly rough version almost always outperforms the polished one it feels counterintuitive to give up control over the message, but that's usually the trade that gets the video to actually convert. if you're stuck rewriting creator scripts over and over, let me know, happy to share what we do differently.

what kills a UGC campaign faster? - boring hook - wrong creator - scripted dialogue - no repeat testing in my experience it's rarely the hook. it's usually that nobody went back and doubled down on what already worked.

28M+ views. 9% CTR. same ugc system, run over and over. not luck. a repeatable process.

ugc tip nobody tells you: the hook matters more than the product. "i couldn't get x to work" beats "this tool has x feature" almost every time. your first 3 seconds decide if the scroll stops, not your 10th.

2 months of failed hooks. failed creators. failed angles. then $40k in sales in a single month, from the exact channel everyone told us to give up on. nobody posts the failing months. everyone only posts the win, which makes it look like it happened overnight. it didn't. if you're a few weeks into testing ugc and it feels like it's not working, that might just be where you are in the process, not a sign to quit. let me know if you want to compare notes.
