Remember @Astros earlier I had tweeted that Yordan Alverez was on pace for 54 home runs.
With his second home run number 20 for the year, he is now on pace for 57 home runs for the season.

@mdvirgilio We already multiplied and filled the earth. We don’t have to have more than two kids.
English

It bums me out how many families have only two kids. It’s a pandemic! Do they really only believe they can only handle two? What’s up with that? I know the answer; it's a rhetorical question.
I think it’s bordering on sin for a couple to limit themselves to having two children, for whatever reason. At best it’s a cliché. We’ve attended a goodly number of churches over the decades, and since I’ve become a full-on natalist it distresses me how many families have two children.
I’m not saying all Christian families have to go old school and have ten kids like our ancestors, but as I told a young friend of mine recently and my daughter as well, you will never, ever regret having more children. You get to bring more image bearers of God into the world, and into eternity, to love and nurture and raise.
So, young Christian couples, be fruitful and multiply! It’s not a suggestion.

@churchtalkative You can but not a very faithful one. The church is God’s assembly, His family, the citizens of His Kingdom and we are one body of Christ, meant to come together.

@michaelschwab13 Conspiracy. How can a baseball team have more injuries than an NFL team? How can you predict who is going down next?

@DreamTeamApple1 I understand what it’s like to get in your own head. ❤️🩹🙏🏼

@SHescht11509 Thank you. I'm trying my best every single day to overcome all these obstacles in my way. It feels like most of them I'm creating in my own mind. These obstacles don't even exist and I'm allowing fear to dictate how I feel. I know eventually I'm going to be happy and at peace.

@DreamTeamApple1 1 Peter 5:7
cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
English

@DreamTeamApple1 “The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer & supplication w/ thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. & the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts & your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:5-8)

@Biblicalman It’s not that it belongs in the Bible. It gives insight into how the first century Jews and Christians understood the spiritual realm.

The Book of Enoch is trending again.
Every time disclosure files drop, Christians start sharing it like it belongs next to Romans.
It does not.
Your Bible has 66 books. The men who bled for that canon knew exactly what they were doing when they left Enoch out.
Read what is in your Bible before you chase what is not.

When I was Muslim, I compared Muhammad’s last words to Jesus’ last words.
Not just the facts, but the spirit behind them.
And bro, the difference is staggering. It shook my devout Muslim faith.
According to Sahih al-Bukhari, Muhammad’s final words included: “May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians. They made the graves of their prophets into places of worship.”
Those are words associated with his final moments.
No forgiveness. No reconciliation. No peace.
Now compare that to Jesus.
Beaten, betrayed, tortured, hanging on a cross with nails through His wrists, Jesus says:
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
And then: “It is finished.”
One dies speaking curses.
The other dies extending forgiveness.
One ends by drawing lines and reinforcing division.
The other tears the veil and reconciles heaven and earth.
And whether people like it or not, final words reveal something deeply personal about the heart.
That contrast shook me.
Because one man’s final moments reinforced separation, while the other’s changed eternity through mercy, sacrifice, and love.
Please sit with that honestly.

ELON MUSK: Earth is Tiny. The Future is Space.
Human civilization uses only a tiny fraction of the Sun’s energy. Even if humanity used a million times more energy, it would still be extremely small compared to the Sun’s power.
The Sun dominates the solar system, holding around 99.8% of its total mass.
Everything outside the Sun is almost insignificant when measured against the Sun’s scale and energy.
Earth-based civilization has a natural limit because our planet’s resources are small compared to what exists in space.
To grow civilization in a truly meaningful way, humanity has to expand beyond Earth.
Space is not optional for long-term growth — it is the next step for civilization.
