A ‘restful’ half term gone too quickly! The BEds back together for some final preparations as we go into the second half of our Placement B 🥳 Next time we’re together will hopefully be followed by some QTS celebrations 👀 Bring on July!

Another day active day covering Hashing and Kin Ball to finish off our alternative activity filled week. So much fun learning about these new sports and I’m so excited to use them in my lessons!🤍

Big thanks to @Liskeard_PE for an amazing day learning Ariel ropes! Learnt so many new skills and enjoyed hearing about how this alternative form of gymnastics works towards engaging all students. Lots of laughs and a great day all round☺️

Back to it 🫡 Starting the year with some alternative sports, having a go at Street Surfing, Aerobics, Step Aerobics and Spinning. Definitely some Christmas and New Years calories burnt! 😅 Good to be back! @NWalkerPE @ClareBulford @JillHodgePE

Buzzing to start using these☺️

Started my whole school World Cup scheme and so excited for it! Leading a sweep-stake for all students and teachers in the school with a prize for the winner at the end. Display board is up and have got the students to make some posters. Bring it on! #ItsComingHome🏆

After finding difficulty with one student, (hate to say it) but was worried about taking their lesson today but it went brilliantly! All students engaged throughout, LO’s achieved and they enjoyed the lesson. The highs really are high in behavioural school, taking the win today☺️

SO glad I was organised on my training year when I had the time 😅 My resources are going to be a life saver this year!

Great first two days at Caradon Academy (WAVE) to start my first placement of year 3. Brilliant to be involved in the different environment of a behavioural school and have really enjoyed meeting all the students. Bring on Christmas term!💪

Last day at Combe Pafford school and hate to admit, there was tears:( the best few weeks I’ve had here are down to the amazing staff and the lovely students. Have never laughed nor learnt so much on a placement and I’m really going to miss being able to teach there everyday❤️😢

Was put on the spot with our head if PE being off today so ended up solo teaching a full day of six lessons for the first time. Think it went really well! Enjoyed it and the children stayed engaged and liked the lessons, even with everything being so last minute! Proud :)

My final lesson teaching gymnastics with my year 8’s working on rolls, travelling, shape and balance, all to be put together to a mission impossible spy themed routine! Gutted that I won’t be at the school next week to see the finished product but have loved seeing them improve😊

Spontaneous and unplanned lessons always seem to go best for me! Created a golf course type lesson focusing on introducing batting in cricket and fielding using long barriers between pairs. Worked so well, even with my challenging year 6 group, such a good day :)

Week 3 of our SEND placement finished with some beautiful sunny weather and some presents from students, teaching and planning lessons already and still enjoying this school so much🌞🤍

First week finished of our SEND placement and I’m LOVING it! So nice seeing a different side of teaching and learning about behaviour management strategies that work for individual students. Finding this placement so rewarding already, love the students and loving teaching! 😁

Learning more and more everyday, especially that silence and patience is key! Also really enjoying taking time in the evening to learn sign language with the girls! @MissJAdamsPE @SHolmesPE #WhatAWeek
