long story short, if you take the time to write paragraphs of hatred for a novel you even claim you “gave up halfway through”, your review is null and void to me. you are not original and edgy for posing as a contrarian, you’re just annoying lol

then, curiosity strikes and I go to one of their goodreads pages and they have YA novels and manga all 5-stars. one even rated “openly straight” 5-stars and THAT book was god awful
