I just genuinely don't understand the hate for the Elf Unity Questline. As someone who's played everyday this game has existed I thought " hell yeah" and "FINALLY" when the elves finally started to see their conflicts are smaller than the world around them. I for one loved it. 🤷

I'm invested in the game being better, but I can only see their current pace as dangerous for the long term. Maybe enough players are happy with the easy gameplay, tsunami of gearing, and everything else that just blasting the story is worth it. I'd like to hope otherwise.

somewhat unfair rageposting aside, I think WoW's got a few issues in how they work
1) they don't seem to set a tone and stick to it
Nadia Brighton's dialogue in the Voidspire lead-up was so out of place it genuinely angered me. "This. Is. Ah-may-zing!", really? What the fuck?

@PyromancerYT I’m hoping this “breaking of the shadowlands” concept means the afterlife will be inscrutable again. I like the spirituality of the various wow cultures. Nothing was worse than seeing that Tauren become a blue human in Bastion.
Some things need to stay mysterious.

Org and TB together. SW and IF together. But it starts to feel like the OG Classic mega-factions again (with a bunch of satellites). Decisions and identity become more monolithic.
Let them interact and form treaties but still retain autonomy and agency.
