I’m offended. Echo often won’t snuggle me when I come home from the barn until after I shower and change because I smell. But today I caught her napping in my dirty barn clothes laundry basket. Cats!

This is only half of the friskies order I placed to keep the feral cats fed for the next ~2-3 months… (had to run home from work to put it inside because it’s still too friggin got here)

I've decided that every time I have 15 minutes to wait while code is running, I'm going to call @Cigna about that MRI they owe me $540 for. They've definitely spent more than that in their employee time bullshitting me about why they won't reimburse me

I have to do a fasting blood draw tomorrow and I once again wish there was somewhere I could have that done at 6:30 am instead of 8:45am (the earliest available time). I *need* breakfast and coffee when I get up and not getting it until after 9am is aways horrible.

My cats are not normal and I love them for it. Had a nice 15 minutes of petting Echo’s super soft belly while she purred. Very nice way to finish my coffee before starting work.

ooh, maybe mailing my 30+ page manifesto of a denial of coverage dispute has actually worked! I can't see any actual documentation of the approval, but the MRI prior authorization now shows "approved" in my online account. Just submitted the claim for reimbursement of the $540🤞

@SIPL68 @crittermomva She’s a good kitty! Her brother used to be my favorite feral, but she overtook him because she’s so punctual and polite ❤️😂 (they’re both good kitties. All kitties are good kitties)

Roxie had to show up in the yard within moments of me getting my dessert out of the freezer. (don’t worry. I put it back in the freezer so I could go feed her her dinner because she saw me and gave me sad eyes)

ok, my talk for the conference next week is definitely falling into the "good enough" category. After hastily making a poster version last week in case I couldn't go, "good enough" is the best I can do on the slide deck while finishing travel prep

Echo is not happy about my return to working and telecons. She was a complete menace during my 1pm call, chewing on cords, rugs, everything to get my attention. And now she has the zoomies 😂
