It’s amazing what you can learn from just doing - even something a bit fun/silly like superacca.com I was hitting rate limits and just thinking things through, using Claude Opus, helped me change the way I was doing it so it’s much more efficient.

It was hard to see everyone’s track record in the WhatsApp group so this solves it with a running league. I also added an AI roast master for the craic. I may take this out depending on the feedback.

Just join, create a league, invite your mates and see who actually knows what they’re talking about. I built this because I do it on WhatsApp with a group of friends every week and we put €5 on an acca.

When I was pondering a name for Nebular, the James Webb space telescope sent back its first images. Nebulae spotted light years away by a bunch of hexagonal mirrors floating in Earth's shadow - dust fusing to form stars. Felt like a good name. Needed a site & brand to match.

Hello Stuart! If a rental car is returned, and requires cleaning before being rented to the next customer, a cleaning charge may apply. Cleaning charges may be assessed for (but not limited to) excessive dirt/sand in the interior/ exterior, trash or food left in the vehicle, stains on the carpet or seats of the vehicle, pet hair or waste in the vehicle, as well as smoke or other odors inside the vehicle. These charges may range from $25 - $450, depending on the amount and/or cost of cleaning necessary to prepare the vehicle for the next customer. ~RG

Folks - be careful when renting with @Avis at Seattle Airport. They charged me a $450 cleaning fee for sand. They checked the car when I returned it with no issue. I was then sent a report from 4 days after I returned the car stating there was heavy sand. Daylight robbery.

Got some pretty insane toothache at the moment - which seems to be calmed (for one minute a time only) when I hold water in my mouth. Sounds like it must be an exposed nerve. Any suggestions for other home remedies until I manage to see a dentist? (Hopefully Monday, maybe longer)

I just started using @posthog for a new tool I'm building and wow! It's so quick to get started - added analytics, a survey and a couple feature flags in literally minutes.

One of the reasons why public transport isn’t more widely adopted - cost. €66 pp for return from Dublin to Cork. Car rental for the day is €22. With petrol and tolls that’s on par for one person on the train. Anymore than one person and it doesn’t really make sense from a cost point of view.
