@SeanIzaakse Unpopular opinion, but I think Emerald Twilight/New Dawn is still one of the best GL stories out there. After that, I would say GL #100-106. Circle of Fire. Hand of God. I would say most of Marz's and Winick's are really strong.

@Rememberfright I hope that Lanterns is a big hit TV hit, and Gunn decides to keep Hal/John in TV, Guy in the JL, and introduces Kyle in a GotG-like film.

Lanterns comes out. The massive negative reception forces Gunn to pivot. He adapts Emerald Twilight, destroys the Corps and makes Kyle Rayner the next GL. New Green Lantern movie is announced with Kyle as the lead and no baggage from the tv show, it is fully ignored

@Rememberfright I mostly agree with you, except for Geoff Johns's run. I think it started REALLY strong (def S tier), but once it hit the whole rainbow corp, it lost its momentum (B tier in my opinion).

I have done it. I have read every single Green Lantern issue, mini, and ongoing ever released and every lantern related series (glc, glcq, red lanterns, Mosaic, Guy Gardner etc, etc) ever released till this day. It took me around around 3 years but I have done it.

I am starting to come around to Kyle’s new uniform. At first, I didn’t really know how to feel about it, but now I’m thinking “You know, it’s not THAT bad.” I don’t think I’m at the point where I truly like it, but I am at the point where I go, “It could have been worse.”

@XGuardianAngel7 One thing I really loved during Judd Winick’s run is that Kyle became this small-time celebrity because of his work as an artist on a comic strip. It felt like a good step forward for the character.

It is official. Kyle Rayner is becoming the lead of the Green Lantern series starting in Green Lantern #33. He’ll be back on Earth, specifically back in Los Angeles. He’s going to find a job & fight villains, and good luck to you on both fronts, Kyle.
