Hi everyone 👋 , As the voucher scheme continues in 2024, there are some updates and new operational guidelines. This video includes some important updates on the Social Inclusion Voucher Scheme 2024. This update is an overview of the current situation in March 2024.

Hi Everyone👋 Here is the IRIS Walk-In Service, DVI Schedule for December 2024: Tuesday 5th December, 9:00am-1:00pm Tuesday 12th December, 9:00am-1:00pm We will be closing for Christmas on Tuesday 12th December. The walk-in service will re-open January 4th 2024, 9:00am.

Hi Everyone 👋 SLIS are delighted to have provided the Social Inclusion Voucher Scheme for 2023, but the application deadline is fast approaching! You can continue to use the voucher scheme up until 31st December, but applications end on 15th December 2023. Thank you 😊

👋Hello! Unfortunately, all SLIS services will be closed Friday 10th November due to Staff Training. This includes IRIS, the referral service, and booking interpreters for GP appointments and the Voucher Scheme. Thanks for watching!

Did you know that SLIS facilitates appointments for Deaf ppl with an interpreter & the GP? Contact SLIS to arrange an #ISLInterpreter via email/text; SLIS then confirms the appt. Following confirmation, along with the invoice, the SLIS pays the interpreter on behalf of the HSE.

This is a new walk-in service for the Deaf Community who have a different native signed language, such as Ukrainian Sign Language or International Sign Language. The service can also be used by the Deaf Blind Community with tactile ISL and Deaf people with additional needs.

The existing service, the Irish Remote Interpreting Service (IRIS), operates as a service for the Irish Deaf Community to make general and short calls with a zoom link to a sign language interpreter.
