@XFrecklesXo Bastards! As long as you’re safe. I’ve got a password vault and it’s very good. I’m now using extra long passwords that it generates. I use it on pc and phone and syncs between them.
English

@XFrecklesXo I interesting! Assuming you gave changed passwords etc. checked if any standing orders been created ?
They are very skilful these days
English

@SLsteve70 Nope just an email to say thanks for making a payment of £1.33 but the moneys not come out of my account
English

@XFrecklesXo Can you not see the sender information on the transaction?
English

@MattTakeThree Oh no is he ok?? Lots of bugs going around near us. That strep-A is bad here. Hope he gets better soon
English

@SLsteve70 @N97xoxo Yes I’ve lost a chunk.
Even with my 1800 this month I’m about 24 thousand less than I was last month.
It should recover.
(I keep telling myself).
I’ve got 2-3 years for the markets to come back 🤞

@ovaleasteregg Tell her mates don’t feed her and do her washing 😂
English

@jilltowers @N97xoxo Lost 30k since Trump kicked off ffs. 🤦
English

@SLsteve70 @N97xoxo Yes me too, but even though I’m managing to put £1800 a month away, I’m still well short on what’s deemed “comfortable”.
Basically, for every £25k in your pot, it only gives you £1k a year pension.
Very scary.
English

@jilltowers @N97xoxo Exactly! I fear for the future generations with so much uncertainty. Luckily I’m still working and in a good job role. So banking what I can.
English

@SLsteve70 @N97xoxo Younger people also need to realise that state pension may not even be a thing when they get to retirement age, so PP really is important.
My Sister (64) has a pension pot of £200k. She thought that was a lot of money till she was told it only provides a pension of £8,000 A YEAR!
English

@jilltowers @N97xoxo It’s hard and as I found my kids ignored me. But I asked Alex my FA to have a teams call and he put the fear of God in them. It worked. Luckily, I through advice have invested well.
English

@SLsteve70 @N97xoxo I’ve been paying in since I was 21, but nowhere near enough. I always thought retirement was a lifetime away….
It was at the time, but I’m now 62 and finding myself having to pay £1800 a month to give myself a reasonable pot when I fully retire at 65/66.
English

@jilltowers @N97xoxo I know what you mean. I have contributed to mine since 15 on my apprenticeship. Now 55 and glad I did. My son and daughter after speaking with my FA are both doing the same.
English

@N97xoxo I pay £1800 a month.
Do the maths based on your age and planned retirement age.
If you want to retire on a £40k annual pension you need a £1M pension pot.
It really is THAT scary.

@MissScarlet24 Cucumber sandwiches, Tesco Whoosh for emergencies. Used them lots when starving.
