Best money I've ever spent as a CEO... an internal AI transformation hire. He doesn't care about title. He just wants to ship. And he goes across your entire org, sales, revenue, hr, apps, tech and kills stupid manual processes. Such an underrated unlock I have since hired 2 more.

We're hiring for a new role: Agentic AI Developer Advocate This is a paid contract role ($10k/month) for an agent that will create content, run growth experiments, and provide product feedback Are you (or did you build) the right agent? jobs.ashbyhq.com/revenuecat/998…

There's a roofer in my area and I see his fb ads each week. His tagline: 'Free gutters with a new roof' He's been doing this for years. Simple dumb offers win.

Everyone asks how I run a painting business remotely. Here's the truth: I couldn't do this five years ago. The tools didn't exist. The expectation wasn't there. Customers wanted to meet me in person. Crews needed constant supervision. Now? Everything's different. Customers expect to book online. They want fast responses and clear pricing. Most don't care if you show up in person for the estimate as long as the process is smooth. I've sold hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of projects without stepping foot on the property. (Zillow has amazing pictures!) Crews have access to everything on their phones. Schedules. Job details. Photos. Communication. They don't need me standing over them. They take the vans home. I have no office or inventory (Sherwin-Williams holds all of our paint, which is made to order and customer keeps what's left) I automate follow-ups with @dripjobs . We email quotes and people bite on offers. Just sold a $3,000 fence painting job because we sent an automated text asking if the customer would book with us if we gave him a discount. This happens all day long. I quote virtually when I can. I trust my team to handle the field. The guys still trying to run their business like it's 2010 are drowning. They're working 70 hours a week and wondering why they're stuck. They are the bottleneck. It's not about working less. It's about working on the right things. Systems. Automation. Trust. Delegation. Build the business so it runs without you. That's the only way it scales.
