Well, shoot. I was not expecting to cry today. I was in the courtroom for Richard’s testimony. I found him to be incredibly compelling as a witness and a person. I think I will someday have to come see this display in person.

@brianmans @jeff_gluck I was in the courtroom for Richard’s testimony and then spoke to him, Ty, and Austin for a few minutes in the hallway. I found him to be incredibly compelling as a witness and as a person. My dad (who passed in 2024) was a big fan of his and I get it now.

Also, I asked about the over under on them having to go back to the judge before 3/26 to resolve disputes. Looks like that happened on 3/18 already by phone. #NASCOURT

Listen to your body friends. I felt awful all week and probably postponed seeing a doctor too long but finally did and am grateful. I needed to get my BP under control ASAP. I'm fine and will be at Darlington but I just want to let you know to see a doctor if you remotely feel like you need to. Don't shrug it off.

@CoachSHoltz When my dad passed in 2001 our entire company was devastated. I wondered how best to empower our employees and our own mental toughness. So I invited Lou to come speak. He got us fired up and helped us realize the opportunity we had in front of us. It was a huge help to us all.

I went to Nashville Fairgrounds yesterday to test @HoosierTire for the upcoming @CARSTour race there on April 11th. I had a lot of fun. I hadn't ran a lap there since middle of 1999. I raced there a dozen times in the mid 1990s when it was a hotbed for Late Model Stocks. You'd have 30 cars for a weekly 100 lap feature. It was amazing. Somehow the Late Model Stock footprint receded to western Tennessee over the years. Anyhow, the track is fast. There are some weeper issues and a massive bump off turn 2 but it wasn't nothing of real concern. We also got a chance to test mufflers. The noise ordinance makes them a requirement. Speaking of which, Marcus Smith wants to build a sophisticated sound barrier around the track once the local government can get on board. Another conversation for another time. It was emotional to make those laps yesterday. Like visiting an old friend and realizing they still were the same person you always admired. Cant wait to have our Pro and Late Model Stock cars there next month. We plan to be in town at Tootsies on Thursday evening to promote the tour and hopefully allow some folks to meet our drivers.
