@SM_123 @lekan_olayinka1 Those slave owners will be from America, where they had only recently been emancipated.

'LIBERIA IS NOBODY'S STEPCHILD' Liberia recently celebrated its 177th Independence Day. However, activist Robtel Neajai Pailey, says her country still needs to break free from its ‘special relationship’ with the United States. In this powerful speech on July 26th, she claims the US still has an oversized influence on her country which should be ‘nobody’s stepchild.’ The founding of Liberia was not done out of kindness for Africans. The American Colonization Society (ACS) wanted to deal with a growing 'problem' of freed slaves in the U.S. Equality with Whites was out of the question so, beginning in 1820, the ACS sent freed slaves back to West Africa using funds given by President James Madison. With time, the colony grew and declared its independence in 1847. The capital, Monrovia, was named after President James Monroe, who procured more funds for the colony. However, despite its declared ‘freedom’, there was still an exploitative relationship. Firestone, a major U.S. Tyre and Rubber Company, is a good example of that. It operated under a colonialistic 99-year lease agreement, forcing a heavily indebted Liberian government to evict indigenous Bassa communities to make way for rubber plantations. White managers coerced tens of thousands of Liberian children, women, and men to tap rubber for meagre wages. The forced evictions then fuelled future civil wars. Robtel reckons it’s time to reimagine a new Liberia. Will it happen? Let us know your thoughts. Video credit: Montserrado Media Inc. @Robtelneajai

@drdina1 @RealDonKeith You still didn't address the point, why does Mansa Musa (for example) count as a Muslim slave trader rather than an African slave trader? Also if you count Arabs as a group do we count Romans, Greeks, Vikings, Celts as Europeans as one group? Count the amount of slaves they had.

Did you know it was a BLACK MAN, Anthony Johnson, who was the very FIRST slave owner in America? But not only was he the first, he was the man who started the entire practice of lifelong slavery in America after suing to keep his slaves for life rather than the usual indentured servitude of 7 years. It was after he won in court and established a precedent that white men and nearly 4,000 other black men adopted the practice of holding slaves for life. This is what THE LEFT doesn’t want you to know so that they can continue to use RACISM to their advantage.

@AliS_Bxl @drdina1 @RealDonKeith Jews and Blacks have the longest collaboration in slavery. That's why you stay silent about this. Why no one is talking about Israel's role in the genocide and slavery of the Congo? Is it because you are scared or is it because you benefit from it? x.com/emanuelpietrob…
Emanuel Pietrobon@emanuelpietrob1

He's Congo's richest and most powerful man. He owns Africa's largest resource empire, spanning oil, gas, gold, and cobalt, even though his greatest love are blood diamonds. You can't understand Central African civil wars without talking about him. His name is Dan Gertler.

@AliS_Bxl @RealDonKeith Muslims were and are the most prolific slave traders. By “Africans” I meant black Africans selling other black people. Many people don’t realize this as they’ve been taught the slavers were white Europeans.

Ethiopia has the longest history of slavery, until this day. Ethiopian peoples are colonizer & slave owners/traders of the darker skinned blacks. But black people like to hide this. They talk about Ethiopia having oldest Christian/Jewish societies, but Ethiopians never spread these religions to sub-Sahara Africa due to colorism/racism. youtu.be/zgq4jt6bbSQ?si…

@SM_123 @MorEdge_Insight It’s not “blacks” it’s Africans. Black ppl have never had slaves. And when black Americans bought slaves, it was to purchase their family for freedom. Stop flattening ppl and using race! It’s obsolete in 2026. Know who you’re talking to and about

She’s absolutely right. And here is the main thing nobody seems to ask: 1. The Transatlantic slave trade may be the largest long distance slave trade, but did you know that the largest number of slaves, by far, never went to the United States like so many people think? The vast majority of slaves went to Brazil. So will Brazil be paying the vast amount of reparations? 2. The Arab Slave trade was larger by number of slaves, with significantly higher numbers of people who died as a result, especially by castration of male African slaves. And it’s also the longest running slave trade that began 1300 years ago, and is STILL ongoing. That’s right… the Arabs still have an active slave trade. Think Qatar. Who do you think built all those stadiums for their World Cup? If the truth about the slave trade was as important as the revisionist history about it, the Arab world would collapse today.

Johnson wasn’t necessarily the first, but he was one of the earliest. The rest of what you wrote is true. Not to mention that many slaves were originally sold to Europeans by other Africans (and Muslims - the most prolific slave traders). History is a lot less clear cut than we’d like.

@drdina1 @RealDonKeith Blacks have the longest history of slavery, which continues to the present. It didn't matter whether they became Muslim/Christian/Jewish/Indigenous, they were/are still slave owners and traders. A black family with their black slave in Liberia

Senegalese led by French man were human trafficking Senegalese boys to France. They are believed to be part of a single "criminal group" "specializing in sexual training for young boys, who were turned into sexual objects by men, mostly HIV-positive, who engaged in unprotected and filmed sexual acts with them. lemonde.fr/en/france/arti…
