@karlcodeswell @Meta @MarkZuckerman There are ads being created in Albanian for SpaceX ads and they're clearly not the same as the cruise ship in Vermont advertising weddings and dinner cruises. Literally nothing we can do. Bought an Oculus and they claim they'll be back in touch soon but unlikely. Totally insane.

@karlcodeswell @Meta @MarkZuckerman Our account was hacked/then the personal user's account was disabled completely by fb. We have fraudulent charges but nowhere to reach out to. Do you have any contact info or did you have to go thru the portal? Without the personal acct we can't even flag that we were hacked.

Hey @Meta @MarkZuckerman my account was hacked over a week ago. You guys automatically disabled my account. $125 walked out of my bank account for Ads. I disputed the charge with promise that you guys would get back to me within 5 days. It day 12. #facebookdisabledme

@OtherBodhiGirl @KerlinepPerkins They won't help 'til you have their $320 product in hand with a serial number. The second you've got the serial number and are a legitimate customer, they have this magical access to FB! What a shocker!

@andymstone our account is hacked and was racking up fraudulent charges after arbitrarily disabling us. We have had to cancel our cards, but are you really okay with Albanian space ads running from a VT cruise company? Why is this not flagged when we were disabled for no reason?

@OtherBodhiGirl Did you do anything specific to get your account back? Or did you just get a notification that it was reenabled?

@IgniteWithAnnie @andymstone Hi Annie -- this is not fully solved, either. We are a business that relies on Facebook Business Manager to reach our local audience. We have spent a decade growing the page. We are still locked out and there is no way to contact fb. Please DM us. Happy to tell the whole story.

@andymstone Hi Andy, as a former journalist, PR person, and student of business continuity — I believe the consumers and users deserve to know more. The impact of the “issue” is deeper than an apology. What is the issue? How did it happen? What steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again?

@andymstone No, its not earlier today, this started to roll down a month ago. My account got hacked and disabled, same as happened to other people posting in support of Ukraine. You have been under Russian cyber attack for quite a while.

@andymstone As much as it is not fair to lock out those who are not paying customers, we actually ARE a paying customer of Facebook Business Manager. I can see that fraudulent ads are being posted and yet I cannot see how for how much or any other information within the account!!

@andymstone This has not been fixed for our business. Someone is also posting fraudulent ads and they are being approved by meta on our account. Our account went out last Friday and this has yet to be solved. We have no idea what to do. PLEASE dm and help, Andy!!

@KerlinepPerkins @OtherBodhiGirl We're in the process but from other articles I've read it sounds like they are no longer allowing the Oculus workaround. Oculus support did reply and asked for name/email/back up email/etc., but said it would be a minimum of 7 days. We are now seeing fraudulent ads on our page.

@SOEA @OtherBodhiGirl Did buying the oculus work? The same thing happened to me 5 days ago. My account was hacked and whom ever hacked ran ads and I was charged. I cannot contact any one. I need my account back because it is tied to my business page.

@Meta @facebookapp Our account was disabled for no reason. We are a small family business and rely on a lot of social marketing throughout our summer season. We have been using Facebook (pd) marketing for the last 6-7 years -- we are in peak marketing season & have live campaigns
