@maxvayshia When merit doesn't matter, institutions weaken, and everyone eventually pays the price. The real challenge is rebuilding a culture that values competence again. Hope may look bleak, but hope is sometimes the only thing a broken system cannot take from us.

Most will skip this but i will post it anyway- This is why we have mediocres all over the country. Quacks. Incompetence. And resultant low state the country is in right now, cos connection is valued over actual qualifications and capability. This is why we have the very leaders we complain about today and this is why our families are murdered on a daily basis without our being able to do anything about it all. Our society and its youths are dead and gone. No hope. No light at the end of any tunnel here.

Armed robbers broke into a house, stole money & everything valuable. After they were done, they handed the homeowner a gun & told him to shoot his wife. The man took the gun & paused, reflecting on all the love & kindness they had shared over the years. He then handed the gun back to the robbers, saying he couldn’t do it. The leader of the robbers then gave the gun to the wife & told her to shoot her husband. Without hesitation, she aimed straight at his head and pulled the trigger, but the gun wasn’t loaded. The robbers took back the gun and left the house, leaving the couple in shock. If you were the husband, what would you do?

Nigerians are some of the most resourceful people in the world. Imagine what would happen if the system actually supported them.

I switched from posting to dropping comment on viral tweets and I hit 5million Impression in 5 days, got monitized on march 7 I had no viral tweets and less than 300 followers. I keep telling my mutuals, when it comes to getting paid on X, impression is the easiest, just show up at the right place.
