made some vhs tapes for our local melee pr players and a couple xtra, I designed the covers and had em printed then me and my boyfriend assembled them by hand and also recorded the set (each players best local win) each cover represents onto the tape so they can vod review ^_^

Been delving hella deep into the lore of CD (there's a LOT and it's REALLY good). Jacket may change slightly, but we're really gonna see how far we can push the limits of this form factor. Love working on stuff like this.

Absolutely toyed with this idea before, and definitely think it's possible, but way more logistics/work involved than I think people realize

RANDOM IDEA I HAD: we should have tourney merch that is themed around the players (esp since nintendo ip stuff has been an issue recently), like a moky edition GOML shirt. i think it would sell well and help player branding, they can even have booths for meet n greets! MAYBE IDK

@justwharton @SPIFspace From what I remember, they made a crest and found a way to incorporate the mains of some of the top players into it. There’s definitely more I’m missing, but that was the most significant design I remember vaguely.

@danfornace Someone should just develop a super slim controller for platform fighters called "the PLATter" and they could use marketing slogans like "Dish out the pain" and "you just got served"
