Mental Performance Coach: dm to schedule [email protected] | header by @alpharad

Welcome to the top 10! Congratulations to @locussk on making it to the top 10! Playing Angry beavers and Reptar they had a strong early season with a 4th place finish at Hungry Games as well as a handful of 1sts at Dutchman's Dungeon!

2X balance aside, I’d still rather fight Ekko than Braum

My post on coaching and frame data got a lot of traction so while I’m waiting for a meeting to start I’ll elaborate on some thoughts. Frame Data is important to know at the higher levels of play, similar to how you’re not going to make it far in high level poker if you haven’t studied and run solvers. However, I have played so many new players who just aren’t improving, and then their conclusion on why they lost is because they forgot that some move was +3 on block. I also think frame data knowledge can be a little self indulgent for many. I’ve seen so many new players just try to spam their knowledge of frames to show off they are good at Melee Also telling people to start with frame data is the equivalent of telling a person that wants to get into a relationship that they need to memorize opening lines and read more books on relationships rather than learning how interact with other people. Of course this isn’t everybody, but I do find it obnoxious that there is a subset of people that obsess over frame data and tell others that’s what they need to get into in order to become good at the game
