.@JulieNCombs just announced she's not running for the District 2 council seat representing her neighborhood, meaning she'll be serve out her current term, which ends in 2020.

Attorney David Lonich of Santa Rosa was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison Friday for his role in the bad loans that brought down Sonoma Valley Bank in 2010, slightly less than the two bank officers in the case.

Sonoma Valley bank Ex-vice president and chief loan officer Brian Melland was also sentenced to 8 years in prison Friday for his role in the $12 million in loans that went belly up and sunk the bank, which was shuttered by regulators in 2010.

Sean Cutting, former CEO of failed Sonoma Valley Bank, was sentenced to 8 years in prison today by U.S. District Court Judge Susan Illston. “This whole situation has been a dreadful one,” U.S. District Court Susan Illston said.
