@HMRCcustomers I've posted a cheque to you on the 29th January. When should that be cashed and reflected in my paye/tax codes?

@HMRCcustomers When the PAYE 25/26 tax screen says "Income from employment. You can update your estimated income from employment or pensions for next year. This will update the estimate that we will base next year’s tax on." should this amount represent my gross pay or my taxable pay?

@SRDent89 Yes, if we've put an underpayment in the 25 26 code, and that cheque will pay it off, we'll then change the tax code. Steve

@HMRCcustomers When I read the tax code estimate for 25/26 does this update with every new payment in this tax year? i.e if you are collecting more from my taxcode in 24/25 to cover an underpayment, will that underpayment reflect in the 25/26 code estimate until it's repaid in 24/25?
