At this point, the US is trying to make Iran (which has grown used to sanctions) used to war... just as they did in Iraq and Syria... which Iran shouldn't let happen. Some people here believe that Iran should turn a blind eye and let these instances go unnoticed so as not to sacrifice the ongoing diplomatic process... which is exactly what the enemy wants... as it pushes to degrade Iranian capabilities... others believe Iran should ditch the diplomatic process altogether... which is also what the enemy wants... as it seeks the perfect excuse to further escalate tensions... The current approach is the most realistic option Tehran has... while keeping the doors of diplomacy open... giving immediate and decisive responses to attacks is necessary to send the message to the enemy that their actions have consequences.
