Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?

I keep hearing the same thing from Israeli officers, and it tells you something real about this war.
Over the past few days, I’ve spoken with officers at different levels. Some are very senior. Some are much younger. The same point keeps coming up: their relationship with their American counterparts is unusually close.
They are talking about day-to-day work. Calls. Assessments. Fast decisions. Trust built over time and tested now under pressure.
In more rooms than people realize, the working language is English.
As an Israeli and an American, I notice that.
From the outside, most people see the strike, the headline, the statement. Inside the system, alliances are judged differently. They are judged by whether people can speak plainly, understand each other quickly, and work together when time is short and the stakes are high.
I’ve spent enough time around decision-makers and military officials to know the difference between a friendly relationship and a working one.
What I’m hearing now is about the working kind.
That may be one of the most important stories of this war against the IRGC in Iran - and it's proxies.

We are enthusiastically willing to pay TSA workers today, and we will keep trying, but the sticking point is that Republicans want to attach ICE funding to it. We are not in agreement about ICE, but I don’t think workers and travelers should have to wait for an ICE deal.

Today, an administrative immigration judge ordered the deportation of Rafael Rubio, a City Council employee.
This is an affront to justice. A dedicated public servant with legal authorization to remain in the country, Rafael showed up for a routine immigration appointment and, despite following the rules, he was detained and has now been held for months.
He should be immediately released.

I'mma be honest: When I was in my late teens, my roommate and I had a schedule of all the local hotel bar happy hours.

@PopBase It’s honestly heartbreaking. A man’s life is about to end over a crime he reportedly didn’t even commit himself. Even if he was involved in the robbery, taking someone’s life for something he didn’t directly do raises serious questions about justice and fairness.
