@NewRightPoast In the article about the Snapchat group, black students & alum were clear there is always a small group of guys who would hurl the n-word. My guess? Parents are well heeled and well connected - maybe even huge Dem contributors. Just a guess. They know they'll get away with it

@SSFouts Maybe so but these are still ultimately just jokes, nobody is getting 'bashed' slurs aren't being 'hurled' etc.

I worked at Burger King in the late '90s with total shitkicking rednecks, I'm talking about guys with confederate flag bumper stickers who rigged their truck horns to play Dixie (seriously). And nobody would have DREAMED of calling someone the n-word to their face. Not once did I see this in four years. Behind closed doors, yes they were telling n-word jokes *in the abstract.* But never, ever, in four years did I hear someone call a specific person the n-word. They probably would have tried to start something with you if you did (the hicklib phenomenon is not new). These were guys who drank MD 20/20 and Sprite all through their shift, who had sex in the disgusting crew bathroom with the most ratchet-ass hoes you can imagine, who stole cases of chicken nuggets for their house parties. One guy actually went to jail for murdering his friend who'd had sex with his gf. Not exactly upstanding members of society. So idk if David is lying here or if his kid lied to him but consider me skeptical that this sort of thing is happening regularly(!) in a tony suburb in 2026.

Adopting a child from Ethiopia changed David French's perspective on the state of racism in America. From our new episode with @davidafrench.

Roy Cohn spent decades as Donald Trump's mentor and McCarthy's enforcer, destroying careers by labeling men as communists and homosexuals. In 1986, CBS asked him whether he was one.

If I were a gambler, I would bet every penny to my name that none of this happened. David and his other half are insufferable narcissists who lost their minds when Trump won, then became Democrats, then realized that they needed to be victims to be fully adopted by the Left. The two of them are white and wealthy and not actual victims of anything, hence the sudden onset of the chronic race card strain of Munchausen by proxy at the very moment they abandoned their core beliefs to become leftists. They also claim they had to leave their church in Franklin because people were allegedly racist to them during communion. A fact they never share, probably because it is both hilarious and evidence the alleged incident never happened, is that this allegedly happened at a notoriously left-wing church (the most left-wing in the presbytery—even more than the one which was previously led by a pastor who claimed Christians were obligated to do security at gay pride parades) helmed by a Trump-deranged lib. They then joined a liberal black church in Nashville. Because of course they did. But that wasn’t enough, so they left the state entirely to move to Chicago, or as Jussie Smollett calls it, MAGA country. The much more banal reality is their truly insufferable narcissism, made even worse by the constant need to be victims, drove away everyone around them in every aspect of life, leaving them nothing to do but leave. It was a win-win for everyone. They can now prance around not-at-all-crime-ridden Chicago while pretending to be Vanilla Nelson and Winnie, and everyone in Tennessee can breathe a sigh of relief that they’re finally gone.

@MmHabitual @11BR1b @jpodhoretz You're unable to think of reasons a reckless behavior committed by unknown teenagers wasn't pursued with the utmost effort? Are you suggesting he should have hired private investigators?

@MmHabitual @11BR1b @jpodhoretz I went to high school in the 90s. Once, a jerk I didn't know with a car full of his jackwad friends tried to run us off the road and chased us in his car. There are dumbass males in every generation and race. If you don't think this happens, I don't know what to tell you.

@LizzieMarbach Why would a Christian argue against a position no one takes? I ask you to follow our Lord more closely and reflect on your dishonesty. God bless.

This is why it’s important to fight against the RCC/EO argument that scripture didn’t exist or that no one had any clue what it was prior to the councils. It’s a lie and gives way to other false claims about God’s word. Christians began to recognize scripture vs not scripture almost immediately as these books were written. Yes, there was some debate over a few books, but the overwhelming majority were immediately recognized. Likewise, the overwhelming majority of non-inspired text were immediately recognized as such. Early Christians had a good idea of what God’s word was.

If Biblical scholars hundreds of years after the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ can decide which books of the Bible were "just made up" and removed them from the texts so that we can't learn from them, then how do we know that the entire Bible isn't "just made up"? It's a fair and honest question. Insults will not be tolerated, this is a post for discussion.

@jpodhoretz Why is David French's adopted Ethiopian daughter so important to you, personally, that you would accuse someone of being a "psychopath" for not believing the (ridiculous) stories of "racist southerners" in the 2020s. You haven't worked an honest day in your life, John.

“It’s not divination to pray to dead saints because they’re alive in Christ.” The Bible refers to them as asleep in Christ. Do you tend to ask a sleeping person to pray for you, or is sleep perhaps a barrier to communication?

Intercessory prayer is when a living person prays for another living person, as modeled in every case in the Bible. Praying to the departed saints is practicing divination, which we see condemned by death, like when Saul used a medium to summon Samuel and died as a result.
sisi ♱@fiatpuella

protestants bragging on tiktok about being intercessors then in the same breath saying Catholics are wrong for praying to the saints and Mary….. right….
