It starts off with banning porn because porn is icky. Then they will ban any media depicting depression or suicide because it's insensitive to anyone with mental health issues. Oh you also can't have anything with gun violence because it's insensitive to anyone who has ever been a victim of a violent crime. Drug use? Oh, that's not sensitive to anyone struggling with addiction so any depictions of drug use have to go, as well! And so on, and so forth, until you have nothing left that can possibly offend anyone. Nobody will be able to have any meaningful conflict in a work of media because any conflict will inevitably make someone uncomfortable, and that will make all media that gets produced end up being terrible because conflict is what makes narratives compelling.

Censorship is a plague. It’s no longer justified. They’re now banning things simply cause they wanna ban them. Kids protection and crap have nothing to do with this injustice.
