@SomewanElse_ Like, “Oh wow! I found this random hollow plastic figure from 1992 for $10. What a steal!” It was like a time capsule. Now everything is the same stuff you can find in your local Barnes and Noble or FYE. Plus Pokémon cards for $3643 a pop. Part of the experience has been lost.

@SomewanElse_ Back in the day, before everything was on eBay and Conventions became overly mainstream for companies to utilize, you used to be able to walk around the Dealer’s Room and find great deals on Japanese merch that you couldn’t get in your home country. It was part of the fun.

R.I.P. to the great Yuji Ohno. It’s no exaggeration to say that the reason I got into Lupin was because the music stood out to me. Memories of the Summer of 2005 are flooding back to me. Staying up to watch Lupin at 5 am on Adult Swim and enjoying that funky jazz score!

Lakers GM Rob Pelinka gave the game ball to Redick over anybody else, and LeBron felt Pelinka's priority was "yet another example of the Lakers taking him for granted" (via @mcten)

@nike_eredar @cynicalnyk You’re not wrong. I live in Jersey, but I’ve been to NY enough. Just looking around you see that NYC is a Baseball Town. NJ residents are more geared towards Football. NY residents don’t want to go over to “smelly old Jersey” and Jersey residents don’t want to go to “nasty NY.”
