Any game with New Game + mechanics should allow you to skip cutscenes completely if you feel like it. Especially if they're long. Not that I hate a game's story, often I love them, but if I just beat it, then I don't need to sit through it again.

@pureMetatron You should specify an Offline Single Player to make it a real challenge. Most MMOs or Multiplayer Online games in general, can be enjoyed for 1000s of hours. For example, Runescape. If I took the long and hard way skilling rather than cheesing it. I wouldn't beat it in a year.

@PlayStation That Avatar game won't be available 10-15 years from now. And in an all digital future, nobody will get to legally play it, unless it had a physical release. Do you see what's wrong here? Either start making all your licensed games classified as "in perpetuity" or keep discs.

What this means is that, if Sony absolutely wanted to, they had the tech to make the PSP a sort of "Proto-Switch" for digital PSP titles, running on both the PS3 and PSP, and capable of transferring your saves with ease of use between devices. They just... didn't.

When you learn the PS3 has a PSP emulator of sorts that is kinda locked for most PSP games, but can easily be tweaked to run PSP natively, they just didn't let you play your PSP games on your PS3 despite being perfectly capable of it.

I don't think Sony's calculated just how many people buy second hand for delisted/expired licensed games they can't legally sell, the PS5 owner who also has a PC, the PS1-PS2 owners from the 90s-00s who stuck around who can find what they grew up with on PC now, etc.
