@astral142 I rarely retopo from scratch regarding hard-surface stuff. You’ll find that most of the time, It’s a lot easier to adjust existing geo than to always make it from scratch.

@SSJ_Joseph Do you retopo your high poly or just manually clean mesh to Make it low poly? I always face mismatching issues whenever I make high poly and then copy it to manually clean it to make low poly. My low poly always sticks out too far from high poly which I have to manually snap
