Skills were top of the agenda at our Somerset Directors’ Forum today. Sponsored by SS&L, discussions ranged from the positive impact of apprenticeships and nurturing and engaging with the future workforce to attracting new talent and getting the recruitment process right. There were also discussions about the challenges businesses are facing with ever increasing costs and the need for business leaders to use reflective practice to improve the wellbeing of their teams, as well as their own. There will also be an opportunity to network with fellow senior leaders, both before and after the main discussions.
