If Real Madrid fail to win this match, I honestly doubt our chances of winning the league. Secure the three points now, then wait to see Barcelona take a tough beating against Atletico Madrid.

Abacha wanted a one-party contraption; he wanted all the political parties to endorse him. Exactly what is happening today. The truth stings!

THE CHRONICLES OF PETER 'ANTICHRIST' OBI POLITICAL WHOREDOM ● 2014: APGA - PDP He lodged himself under the political wings of the Biafra General, Ojukwu. He became governor from 2006 - 2014. He barely waited for the completion of his tenure before leaving the party. He cited the need to move to a larger platform built by others to have national relevance. It is never Peter's obligation to help in advancing the stature of his platform, he must abandon the ship that made him governor for selfish ambitions. He does not build platforms - he boards them. He does not lay foundations - he inherits them. And when the inheritance no longer flatters him, he moves. He moved to the then Ruling party PDP. ● 2022: PDP - LP After serving in GEJ's government and rightly shamefully dismissed by Buhari. After becoming running mate to Atiku in 2019. He aspired to become President in 2022. But the arena of men requires spine. Seeing he lacked the stamina and the stature to compete, he fled - again. His excuse this time was a rigged internal party structure and an uneven playing field. A man who cannot reform a party wants to reform a nation. He could not midwife a New PDP. Yet he sells us the dream of a New Nigeria. The masquerade that cannot dance in the village square now promises to perform at the king's palace. ● 2025: LP - ADC Labour Party, in its season of turbulence, looked to its most prominent stakeholder for direction. They sought a elder's hand to still the waters. They found instead a man more combustible than the crisis itself - more divisive than the very factions tearing the party apart. The momentum of 2022, that extraordinary season of hope, evaporated like morning dew because the vessel meant to carry it had no depth. Again, as customary of all mediocres, instead of attempting to bring solutions to the challenges. Instead of him to attempt to extinguish the fire consuming his house - The political infant fled. He escaped. He eloped. He japaed. So you understand why he will spit on the graves, efforts and sacrifices of fighters? This is the man who spits on the graves of those who fought, bled, and sacrificed. But why would it surprise you? You cannot respect what you have never attempted. A man who has never built cannot respect builders. A man who has never bled for a cause cannot honour those who did. A man who has never led a struggle will always mistake giants for obstacles. Peter Obi has never fought for any cause. He has never erected any worthy structure. He has never led any movement through fire. He has only ever done one thing with masterful consistency: He has always known which ship to board - and precisely when to jump. Tinubu’s camp will eventually tell us their issue with Peter Obi. They’re known for dragging him over things others get away with. I assume everyone knows why South‑West APC boys and neutrals will never forgive Obi - he beat Tinubu right in his own backyard (Lagos). Bruised ego.

1-United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP) 2-Congress for National Consensus (CNC) 3-National Centre Party of Nigeria (NCPN) 4-Democratic Party of Nigeria (DPN) 5-Grassroots Democratic Movement (GDM) Those were the 5 political parties that Abacha’s National Electoral Commission of Nigeria (NECON) registered in 1996. By April 1998, all five parties had endorsed or nominated one Man as their sole presidential candidate for the planned August 1, 1998, presidential election… His name General Sani Abacha. If not for those who fought for democracy, Abacha was ready and poised to be Nigeria’s lifetime President. If he did not die, Nigeria would have straight up become a banana republic!

How can we respond to someone who said he normally gets advice from a madman, so it's better to ignore? He will also need to praise his benefactor in Abacha.

People like you dont deserve a reply but i'll deign to correct your arrogant ignorance this once. Have you heard about the Save Nigeria Group? Who were the leaders? What role did Tunde Bákare, Prof Wole Soyinka , Tinubu whom you all detest today play in giving direction to that organisation? Who crafted the doctrine of necessity that finally enabled GEJ to ascend the presidency? Yeah, Yoruba ensured Jonathan was not pushed aside by the Arewa forces. History like truth is bitter. We are done pulling you people's lips apart for you people to spit...what we call 'Ayé fa mi l'étè n bẹtọ.' Go do some desk research on contemporary Nigerian history with AI tools that are everywhere these days even if you can't buy books!
Mr. Moses@NwokemMoses

@drdebodun @ThomasUthm98773 @Kiteliban Yoruba led protest that ensured Jonathan became president? In which country. Liar, now resisting dictatorship and collapsing of democracy is fighting the Yorubas? Please remove God from your bio, divisive man.

NADECO cowards that all ran away once Abacha sneezed. They were all thieves headed by drug barons. Even the one that died in jail was the head of drug cartel. IBB and Abacha saved and delayed calamity that would have destroyed us.

THE UNWORTHY DESERVES TO DIE As of 2025, Nigeria has 19 registered political parties. But at the turn of the year, 2 new parties were added: Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA) and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) - bringing the total to 21. If your definition of "killing opposition" is refusing to bend the law for constitution-flouting, process-breaking political infants - then YES. Let that opposition die. An opposition where comedians storm a party today and seize its leadership by morning - like armed robbers - when that party's own constitution demands two years of membership before any national office.. Yes, such lawless opposition needs to die. An opposition that conducts a convention in defiance of a court order, without INEC clearance, and then - only when the law arrives at their door - confesses wrongdoing. Yes, such illegality ridden opposition must die. And if your definition of "saving opposition" requires Tinubu to teach them party administration, tutor them on legal compliance, and hand them a campaign strategy - Then power was never theirs to hold. Sorry, that kind of unprepared and uncoordinated opposition may as well has earned its right to die because power only goes to the deserving, not the sympathetic... Good Morning Severally... Comrade Deji Adeyanju@adeyanjudeji

Buhari who overthrew a democratically elected govt didn’t kill opposition and democracy from 2015-2019 but ex NADECO activist does not want any opposition in the country. He wants to go unopposed in 2027. Tinubu will eventually burn down this country if he continues this way.

STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S 2026 EASTER MESSAGE I rejoice with Nigerians at home and abroad as we celebrate another Easter. To Christians in Nigeria and around the world, the Easter season reminds us of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the redemptive power of salvation for humanity. This season also reminds us of the significance of Easter and the message it embodies— of sacrifice, resilience, and the triumph of light over darkness. For us in Nigeria, the essence resonates with our current realities as we navigate a period marked by economic strain and security challenges, even as determined efforts are underway to address them. Despite the good efforts of the administration and the gallant efforts of our men and women of the Armed Forces who leave behind their families to confront the evil actors in our land, challenges to our security have remained. However, my administration continues to make resources available and forge foreign partnerships to enable us to deal decisive blows to the agents of terror and banditry. On Thursday, I was in Jos to commiserate with people of Plateau State, share in their grief, and offer reassurances of better days to come. The leaders of the nation's security institutions have given strong assurances of progress. We have also sought and are receiving assistance from outside our shores. I am reassured that the citizens appreciate our efforts. I will continue to remind us of the imperative of unity and oneness. No nation can thrive where fear prevails, and no progress can be sustained without peace. To other parts of the country also enduring one form of insecurity or the other, rest assured that concerted efforts are already yielding breakthroughs. I therefore call upon all citizens to support lawful efforts, be our brothers' keeper, and reject all forces that threaten our collective well-being. The ongoing reforms, though demanding in their immediate impact, have been carefully put together and backed by a strong commitment to take us to a shared prosperity. As I have often said, true transformation cannot be achieved without sacrifice, and history affirms that enduring progress is often forged in moments such as these. As the nation gradually approaches another electoral cycle, this season also serves as a call to civic duty and maturity. The Electoral Act must guide the conduct of our political parties and political actors.  Let our choices be guided by a shared commitment to peace, continuity, stability, and the long-term good of our country. Democracy flourishes where responsibility, restraint, and informed participation prevail. Easter gives us the encouragement and confidence that, even as present conditions still put pressure on many of our people, economic indicators show we are making the right choices. A new dawn is on the horizon. Fellow Nigerians, you have been very supportive of my administration because you trust our ability to make our nation better. I will continue to serve to retain your trust. I enjoin you to keep the faith, and never cease to contribute to the progress and greater future we seek, each in our own way, to the emergence of a democratically stronger, more prosperous, and a safer nation. I wish you all a Happy Easter. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria April 3, 2026
