I love that this feels like the opening of Scream, but with Connor in the Drew Barrymore role. He’s the one being objectified, he’s the helpless damsel in distress, instead of a woman. It flips that trope on its head, and it’s genius.
(Also, you cannot tell me that the “V” at the end was not also a sly reference to Connor‘s slutty “V“s that we’ve all seen and admired.)
